One of the best restaurants in KC for both quality of food, service, ambiance and more. The inside is cozy and smaller than many restaurants but it matches the menu! The vegan pot pie and the mussels are both consistently delicious. My server recommended the short rib this time around since it was a seasonal item and I ate every bite - delicious!! It was so tender and the sauce and polenta base perfected it.

First experience here. I have to say it won't be my last. The chicken pot pie was to die for! Best I've ever eaten. Flaky crust and savory gravy with perfect seasoning. My husband had the short ribs. He said they were good but not the best he's ever had. Tables are very close together or very cosy if you want to take the positive side. Limited menu and beer options but if you like cosy and love pot pie, this is your place!

The cutest Kansas City find. We wanted to try a new spot for Valentine's Day and got lucky enough to find a reservation last minute. The service was quick and friendly. You walk in to see a dimly lit room. While it maybe small, it is designed well to feel spacious. Finally, the food! Most notably known for the potpie, of course. Trust me, it's worth it. We both tried the chicken pot pie and love the idea of grabbing one to bake at home for our next gloomy sick day. We had the roasted Brussels sprouts for an appetizer. We left full and happy with our dinner selection.

Everything. Every time. It's always perfect and delicious. This is one of my go go's here in KC. I always also recommend it to out of towners. Their menu is delicious, their space is so cozy and welcoming. I'll always go back! They also are very good at working with me and my dietary restrictions. The owners, managers, servers, bartenders and kitchen staff are always welcoming and accommodating. One of my absolute favorite restaurants. Food recs- Chicjen pot pie, THE pan roasted chicken and the bread pudding. They also have a great wine list and their whiskey cocktails are on point.

Great food great staff this Borderlands on casual but it is a premium restaurant great for All Occasions. I give it six stars but they only let me go up to five

If you are ever down in the KC Westport area there is a little spot called Potpie at 904 Westport Rd. It is American comfort food that is delightful. The popular dish is the potpie but they have other things on the menu. I tried the roasted chicken with mashed potatoes and green beans. The waitress was pleasant, knowledgeable and attentive. The crispness of the skin was top notch and the chicken very moist. The place could be a great date night or even a family night. This is a great spot for comfort!

Potpie has a warm and cozy vibe in a historic building in Westport. You can dress up or down here without feeling out of place. It's a small building and gets a little bit loud but that kind of gives it a local pub feel. They have free bread service, with butter and a crusty French baguette they slice in-house. They definitely didn't skimp which we loved! We ordered two pot pies - the vegetable root and chicken and vegetable. The crust was flaky and nicely salted on both. The chicken and vegetable pot pie had a rich chicken flavor and a good amount of chicken inside. We felt that a more substantial vegetable would have been nice but overall enjoyed the dish. The vegan pot pie had a hearty feel with tender brussel sprouts and carrots, but a bit lighter in flavor than the chicken pot pie. Their cocktails were good as well - the overwhelming crowd favorite was the Tulip which was refreshing and not too citrusy. We were a table of 9 on a Friday night, so the service was a bit slow but did not effect our experience. Our waitress was friendly and our water was always full. I think this is a nice restaurant to eat at and then walk over to Westport main for a couple of drinks.

It's been some time since I've stopped in to this KC staple and I'm so happy to report a wonderful experience!! Literally, they remembered me from visits yrs ago! Talk about phenomenal service. These folks care about thier patrons, and it shows. On to "the tea". The specialty drink menu has several offerings and if my selection was typical, then they are all great (ordered a Megillah) the cream of spinach soup is tasty, goat cheese salad was great and a lil different. Perfectly dressed greens, with 3 generous goat cheese topped crostini served from the oven. Yum! The roasted chicken, mash and green beans did not disappoint! I was so full I didn't order dessert but will be back! I'm so happy to have rediscovered this city gem! Thank you, Pot Pie!!

So excited to walk up and they had a table for 2 available! Bread to start, the menu is updated on the board, a selection of drinks and the smells are heavenly. The pot pies come out fresh and so hot! The soup was very flavorful and pot pies are very large - huge portions. Cute setting & atmosphere! Parking is on street.

As always a delightful and delicious experience Goat cheese salad, mussels, bread of course I think the world of potpie for everything they do And I thank you
